Does He Want More?

I’ve been hanging out with this guy for most of the year. He’s been there for me through some really tough experiences and we spend a lot of our free time together, even after I moved. As far as I know? We’ve been exclusive on a physical level since not long after meeting.

Here’s where I’m confused: He asked recently if I was still going out, and I don’t know what to think. Does that mean he wants to get serious?

I am completely lost as well. What does he mean are you still going out? Like going out with someone? Going out to a club? I haven't a clue. Is there anymore context to this?

If you have been hanging out for a year and things have gone well and you are physically involved, there is that chance that he wants to make it official and exclusive. That is something you just have to sit down and talk to him about. None of us here can know for sure.

Discuss what you both want out of this relationship/friendship you currently have. Just an open and honest discussion. Best to do that and not waste time when one person isn't as invested as the other.

This is something only you two can sort out and not something any of us can know. We are all just going to be guessing. Unless there is more info, this is my best opinion. Best of luck to you.

I know I need to talk with him about it. I just have really bad anxiety and conversations like that are sometimes difficult for me to start.

Yeah, sometimes those aren't easy to start. If you really like the guy though, that is the way to do it. Even do it on the phone and in the comfort of your own home. Maybe that will be a bit easier for you to control the anxiety.

That's funny because I am not either except LinkedIn. We live a purists life which I love. Isn't your general communication with people so much more clearer and satisfying... I have not had TV since 19 too. ;-) I think he is chasing you in sincerity... You and I are more perceptive at this than the Digital crowd who live in the computer are...
