How hard or easy is for you to get a date, laid, or a partner? Why do some people have a harder time than others? What factors make it hard?

For me it is hard to flirt and get any dates. Most just ignore me or pretend that they're interested in me just so I go away 😣. Is that normal?

What does a normal relationship look like or when someone is interested in you? How does one build a normal connection with someone you like and they reciprocating the same feelings?

”How hard or easy is for you to get a date, laid, or a partner?” Easier after my divorce than it was when I was young, for sure. I did get back in shape and that was hard. Setting up a good dating profile took some work, but was not difficult. From there, it was just a numbers game: not everyone was interested in matching, some messaged but did not want a date, some wanted a date. Before long I had a girlfriend. As for getting laid, that would have been easy, but I politely declined to have casual sex with anyone. That pissed some women off too, as if they expect a guy doesn’t have a right to say no.

“What does a normal relationship look like or when someone is interested in you?” The woman will reciprocate interest in you if she is not one who plays mind games, and you don’t want the ones who play games anyway. She will show interest with her body language. She will give you her number or a way to contact her. She will go on a date. She will return your text message. Etc.

”How does one build a normal connection with someone you like and they reciprocating the same feelings?” By taking the good advice you’ve been given here before, not being desperate, not wasting time simping on women who don’t reciprocate interest, not wasting time messaging with women online who just want to be penpals, and not giving up.

it would be relatively "easy" at this point

but that is because of the 10 of 20 years of hard work and effort that I've put on working on myself and getting myself together

so that's why I say it would be relatively easy, but it has not been easy to make it to this point

funny thing in a way, I do not like easy... I don't go around "getting laid" and I do not hook up, I am just not into casual sex

I prefer something way more meaningful, and that does not come easy... but I would not say is difficult either, you just have to be patient, and dedicate plenty of time (and many of other things) to it when you are more selective

I am married, but it is very easy. Right now, I can think of at least 10 men that would date me in a heartbeat.

Most of the time I had a hard time getting dates and could never get laid. There was one year however when i dated 5 different girls and had plenty of sex. I guess my luck changed somehow.

Oh, that's cool. For me a lot of girls say I'm funny but never want to pursue anything else like is that normal? I get their number sometimes but they never respond to me and I just get frustrated 😣😣😣

The only way I'm going to get laid is if I pay for it

The standards a guy has also affects this greatly. I once knew a guy who had a regular parade of women, but they were almost all trashy. He ended up with an STD or two.

Don' benchmark yourself to others. We're all individuals in different situations. That said, you do need to be brutally honest with yourself as to why you're not having any success and reinvent yourself to adjust.

A couple of weeks ago I ask this girl's number and she still hasn't texted me but I see her at work all of the time and I like joking with her a lot. She usually laughs at what I say but doesn't want to talk to me after work. 🤔
