If a man breaks up with a woman because he needs to fix himself. Why would he genuinely want to meet up again once he’s done that?

Does that mean after they fix themselves they will break up again. I don't know if I could trust a guy saying that, makes me feel like they just want me to be their door mat. Like I am not going to wait until you "fix yourself" what will come later. I need some space..

From what I can see, men are expected to give way more than they get from women. If we just look at one area: emotional support. The guy is giving her support whenever needed & he's not going to require anywhere near the same level of support from her. Or the little detail of how he is expected & willing to give his life to protect her but 99% chance she's only willing to take survivor's benefits if a violent criminal shows up. Apparently men & women aren't the same when it suits women... but they're the same when she wants to talk about pay gaps. Just how it is.
