Not at all , if you have a lot of the same interests and have great chemistry and connection that’s all that matters , only you can choose your own path no one else can decide for you , My advice is just play your cards right , their are a lot of fakes and catfishes on the internet so don’t catch heavy feelings for someone that can’t prove to you who they say they are , I have , if someone really likes you they won’t have an issue video chatting you or proving to you that they are who they say they are , if I am talking to a beautiful girl online and we have a good connection with each other the only way I will move forward with her is if she proves to me she is the girl that she claims to be , just because someone sends you pictures of themselves doesn’t mean shit, Have them send you a picture of themselves holding a sign that says Hi with your name on it , If they are scared to video chat you , if they hesitate then you know they aren’t who they say they are , don’t fall for shit like that

Maybe. In the "olden days", that's all people had. A month of phone chat or, better, in person chat with no intimacy can certainly green-light a weekend together; not exactly "feelings" but certainly acceptance. It used to be called "dating".
