Don't worry about it until he actually gets and accepts a job. If you like him and are having fun, then enjoy it as long as it lasts. If he gets a job then cross that bridge when it comes. Right now you have no idea if it will or won't ever happen. So be cautious about getting to emotionally involved, but don't just write him off either. You honestly don't really know what will or won't happen... if let get in your head too deep then you might ruin something that otherwise might have a serious chance.
