Romcoms are realistic as much as porn, and in many causes less realistic than porn.

Pfft, no. Rom-coms are overly exaggerated unrealistic expectations, for your common everyday person. Best thing people can do is work on themselves, acknowledge and work on overcoming trauma and insecurities, then find someone to date that feels like a best friend.
