You are closer in age to her daughter than her, so I'm assuming the girl may find it weird/awkward. The daughter is an adult, so you are not exactly going to step up and be a parent to her. If she has her own place, you will rarely ever meet except for a few occasions like Christmas, Thanksgiving etc.

You are an adult and so is the woman you have been going out with, you do not need anyone's permission or blessings. While it is thoughtful and kind of you to take her daughter's feelings into consideration, you should do what you are happy and comfortable with. I am sure her daughter will come around.
