If you found out someone had a crush on you, but lost interest, would you ask them why they stopped having feelings for you?

I'll admit that I would be a bit selfish and ask. I'd like to hear if I did anything wrong to better myself or if it was just as simple crush that dwindled over time. Some wouldn't care, but would you ask, given the chance to find out?

some girls... during elementary, middle-school, high-school and college years did have a crush on me (or so they said) and of different levels of infatuation and also according to them, since I met them again by chance way later in life (aged 16 to 26)

few of them did mention something about it "I had such a crush on you back then!!" and it was just a crush at the time, lol... they liked something about me or the idea about me, but it was just that, infatuation, and one that just went away sooner or later

so it wasn't that much about me doing something or not something... it was just a crush running out its curse, over time... lol
