Step parents: what was your biggest hiccup along the way of dating a single parent and why?

I'm not in that situation, but probably if the mother tries to make your life difficult when you are forced to take care of their kids.

Are you speaking from a step mom vs real mom stand point or a step dad vs real mom view point? I can agree to this. I have seen it happen from both ends of the spectrum, for sure!! Some people just make it really hard to deal with!!

It's so sad! See, I never understood it honestly. My children's dad's ex was absolutely fantastic with my babies and I liked her more than I liked my children's father 😂 God, I miss her.
