It would depend on their reasons for crying.
If they cried easily during movies or when they witnessed something sweet or sad, it wouldn't be a big deal. I'd think it was endearing because it shows a tender, feminine heart. And I wouldn't have to be upset or do anything because she doesn't need my help. She's just empathizing.
But if crying was her way of releasing tension, stress or anxiety, and she did it all the time whenever something went wrong, I would find it stressful.
For me, crying is significant. It's like an alarm bell. "Oh my gosh, what's wrong?" She'd have my full attention.
But if she cried at the drop of a hat, I probably WOULD become desensitized. It would be like "Oh God, here she goes again. Now what?"
I'm an empathetic person and, in order to preserve my emotional health, I have to distance myself emotionally from constant overload. I don't like drama or crisis.
I'd be concerned about her psychological health.
The worst thing of all would be if she used crying as a little girl means of manipulation. It worked every time on daddy and became part of her personality. It's how she gets her way.
I wouldn't fall in love with a helpless drama queen. Although I do love the kind of sweet girl that I described in my first paragraph.
Funny thing about Liam here is that he’s a hardcore nazi.
It's not the frequency but the reason. If I'm close with a person who cries on Tuesday because their mother died, and Wednesday because their favorite pet died, and Thursday because their arm got cut off, and Friday because they were fired because they are missing an arm, I'm fine with this daily frequency.
Meanwhile, if I'm with someone who cries because their french fries were overcooked on Monday, and cries again on Tuesday because their boss politely scolded them for a big mistake, and cries again on Wednesday because their cell phone battery died at an inopportune moment, and on Thursday because they were catcalled, and Friday because they think their first-world life is the worst thing in the world, I'm out. Have a nice life! Please seek some therapy!

I might become desensitized if she cried several times per week.
Some people just cry and can’t help it , it can be annoying if they are constantly crying over little things and taking things to seriously all the time , Some people are just overly emotional to the point crying just comes natural to them , something to do with their serotonin levels in their brain some people have more than others do so a lot comes down to that , to someone that barely cries they are going to be like WTF is wrong with you , I had sex with a girl that started crying out of no where , I was like Wtf did I do? Did I hurt
You? Did it feel good? I was so weirded out as to why she was crying considering I knew I fucked her good but I was so freaked out as to why she was crying , worst thing ever lol she finally confessed to me that it did feel so good that she started crying cuz her emotions were to high and that she loved being in my arms. I was still a little freaked out but didn’t mention it again to her I just let it go lol They say releasing Serotonin from crying is good , Some people barely have any and the recommend those people should take some type of anti depressant because their brain isn’t producing enough of it , so it makes people sad and depressed. I did a lot of research on this after that girl cried lol
@Finchie40
My ex used to do that once in a while, and I had the same reaction. Absolutely no clue what was going on.
@spartan55 only one time… out of thousands! :)
@wittymilf yes and that 1 time traumatized the guy lol I only had one
Girl cry and so much shit was going through my head , thousands of questions as to why? Lol Did I hurt you, Do you regret having sex with me? Did you do something that you regret like cheat on me? WTF is it!!! Lol I just had
To walk away and let it process as to why she was crying lol Luckily I had Google lol
I do t think it’s crying it’s whether or not something is wrong. I never cry it doesn’t come to me naturally but it doesn’t mean I can’t take someone seriously if they do. It’s just down to
are they trying to solve a problem
are they just having a release- it’s like punching a wall- sometimes you need an outlet-
are they using it to manipulate people.
are they having an anxiety attack
It really depends but most people I’ve seen cry, I try not to judge.
But it doesn’t necessarily draw sympathy from me bc some people for any old thing or bc they are happy 😂
now, if a person is in a terrible & equally intractable situation, well they may cry a lot but not bc they cry easily but bc their life circumstance is that horrific.
So it really depends but again I’d need sone info crying on its own, I mean way too ambiguous.
I do what I feel, I don't really care what somebody thinks of it. At the sma point. I keep a tight reign of my emotions with people I'm not real comfortable with. So if you catch me squirting tears you're a select few.
As far as women crying. I'm almost always skeptical of it. Women tend to cry crocodile tears more than anything. I'm well aware of the tactic. And kind of the same deal. Unless I know her well and comfortable with her I assume it's just a ruse.
by the way, thank you for pink anon free zone. 🙂
well if you're an adult, what's the point of crying? i don't get it. yeah as a child, crying will likely get your mothers or fathers attention and motivate them to fix the thing you're crying about. but as an adult, nobody but yourself is there to fix shit. and if my partner cries a lot, i'm just thinking that they are trying to manipulate me in order to fix their issues.
yeah there's some situations where i understand. like your pet or your family member dies. that's horrible and the overwhelming sense of helplessness we experience in these situations can bring us back to childhood mode. but otherwise, i don't see it.
Depend on that persons temperament. If they always cry and are crying more it would mean they are not coping in some way.
Likewise, if one who doesn’t cry often (like me) cries more than usual, something is up. I wouldn’t get desensitised to either situation.
I would say it's not in how many times but in the underlying reason. If she has every right to be sad because of something I've done or something that happened then I'll be empathetic about it.
But if she's crying just because things aren't going her way and she has no reason to be crying then I'm not budging emotionally.
You are absolutely correct, Crying too much or too often is like the Boy Who Cried Wolf or Chicken Little. After a while, no one believes it.
Sometimes it's hard to keep from crying, and that's okay... just remember that someone may be paying attention. 😉
You are not heartless at all. I had to cut off some friends because all they do is complain and cry boo hoo. I got tired of hearing the same old story. People should learn form past experiences. Why even bother.
I don’t think about it. I just feel what comes naturally. I like to hope the people around me can feel comfy enough the be that way too.
1000 times? 100 times 10 times? Depends on why are they crying does it look and feel genuine. They have concern they want to resolve? Is there feeling truly hurt. Does it get hurt by everything I am saying when I am upset. When I am not upset.
Are they feeling truly hurt?
Do they get hurt by *
Thanks for likes!
He can cry as much as he wants and I'd still love him the same, wouldn't make fun of him or anything because he's a being with emotions too
I don't know. Interesting question.. I haven't been in a situation like this so I'm not sure.
It's not about how often! It's about why! If the why is ridiculous, I won't feel a thing!
With my past, not much. I'm already mostly desensitized from it.
She almost never cried so if she did, something serious was going on.
He never cries, lol, but I'd hate to be in a relationship to ever become desensitized to the others emotions.
I forgot when I was cried last time
I am not like people crying I front of me, if they need anything I will do it
I don't know because I've never dated or been with a crier. Does crying from spanking count? :-D
Crying is good
Once a year is plenty.
Yeah you are a heartless cunt
Good I'm glad you do
I am NOT desensitised to the one I l❤️ve!
