Why does he seem more interested in me in real life than he is through texts?

I recently started a serious relationship with a guy that I have been dating for a couple of months. When we text he usually answers after an hour or two and most of it are short answers but not cold. When we see eachother he always seems more interested in me ( we see eachother once a week or once in two weeks). What does this mean? Is he not enough interested in me?

He just may not be big on texting. I don't know how much you two rely on texting as opposed to being able to hang out in person, but if texts are where majority of your interactions happen (like if you’re in an LDR) and he doesn’t talk much then maybe you’re feeling like you need more communication or something, in which case I’d say talk to him about that.

He might not like texting as much. Some people like to connect IRL rather than over a few texts. Try calling or facetiming perhaps. That might help you guys connect better virtually as well.
