Is it a good sign if your boyfriend invites you to a broader family function and introduces you to childhood friends?
We are both 26 and met on Hinge back in June, made things official in August and have been on a myriad of dates together ever since.
I met his mom and brother before Halloween, and this past weekend he invited me to his aunt's home for his cousin's birthday party, and they welcomed me with open arms, and I had a great time meeting the rest of his family, including his dad.
After the family function earlier in the day, he had mentioned that his childhood friend had invited him out for dinner, so he told his friend that he would bring me along to introduce me to them, so I met 2 of his childhood friends. We spent 3 hours eating, drinking and playing a few games in the arcade.
Next month I'm attending his work Christmas party, and back in October, I attended his work charity gala, and he introduced me to his entire co-workers, team leads etc.
For both of us, this is the first time we have been in a relationship, so I would appreciate any insight if this is a good sign of relationship progression.
