I could really use some advice, life advice and not advice on looks. Advice on finding love, etc.
Well if that really is you, you are not unattractive, and you need to stop thinking you are. Those glasses do NOT fit your face, and you need some better frames. But you are not “unattractive” at all. I just think you’ve got a two stage problem that lots of us have. First: low self esteem, and only you can change that. Counseling / therapy can help, but so can joining a youth group at church, or a club at school. If you have a sense of belonging and a bunch or really great friends, believe me you can’t help but feel better about yourself! You dont have to be religious, I’m Jewish and I went to a Christian youth group, girls I met there are STILL my best friends! Second: I believe you may have fallen for one of the biggest cons out there… that you should look like the influencers you see online! You are you, you’ll never be anyone else, and there truly is someone out there for everyone. I'm talking about true love stuff here. But you can never look as good as the girls you see online, because THEY don’t even look like that! One of my best friends had about 100,000 followers on her insta page before she joined the military and shut it down! But in the fall she would get a makeup artist to come over, she’d decorate a room in her house and take all of her “Christmas photos”. Then she had a guy fix them in photoshop! So if the stuff you see online is not real, how could you possibly live up to a standard of beauty that doesn’t even exist IRL? You can never have perfect boobs, or butt, or thighs, or stomach, because we are not perfect, and someone will always have something “better”! Lastly: just accept that some women are going to be better looking than you, but that doesn't mean they are better or even happier than you! That friend I mentioned, who had the perfect life online, because she orchestrated every part of it? You may have even seen her pics and wished you were her… well, she was miserable, she suffered crushing depression, and was being abused by her “perfect” boyfriend! So PLEASE, listen to me. Just be yourself, and you are true to yourself, you will live a happier life than any of them. As for you? Maybe get new glasses, and take some makeup lessons and you will be beautiful… oh, and smile in photographs, even if you don’t feel like it. People are naturally attracted to happy people. I hope you feel better and can see the beautiful girl I see. Laura 🥰
I’m guessing you think you are ugly based off what you’ve been told?
Stop listening to the comments of others. If they say something, they’re being insecure enough to say it speaks volumes of how horrible they are. They are the ones with massive problems.
Find hobbies you are good at and master them. Make yourself happy first. Happy people are far more attractive and fun to be around than a miserable model. Happy people with talent are even better.
Ok an honest answer here rather than listening to what other women are saying. These women are filling your head w bs, they’re being nice when that really doesn’t solve your issue. I’d have to say to not have so high standards. A majority of women seem to have high standards. He must make X amount of money, have a car, etc, etc. I’m not saying aim for the bottom of the barrel just be open minded to men of various statues, economic, etc. Personality has a lot to do w it. Men want women who have time for them, not so much career oriented women. Men don’t care about those types of things as far as your career, how much money you make. They want a girl who’s down to earth, great sense of humor cause let’s face it a lot of women don’t seem to have a sense of humor. Someone who can cook, granted he shouldn’t expect you to cook all the time he can help as well. Also someone who can give him children. Don’t get stuck w this mentality of I don’t need a man. A lot of women see that as a weakness, that’s the type of attitude men don’t want. It has nothing to do w men can’t handle a strong, independent woman. It has to do w men choosing not wanting to deal w that type of woman. Being submissive is not a bad thing.
man up and be a real man. stop whining and complaining.
just be yourself and it's just your personality that sucks.
it's not about your looks but you need to lose weight and grow taller.
improve yourself and become better... oh wait that's patriarchal for you to become better. never mind
oops sorry. that's advice meant to be given to a man.
but on a more serious note, your looks are gonna play a huge part unfortunately. worst case scenario you're gonna get ignored and rejected a lot but there are things that can be done to improve your attractiveness.
get in shape by staying physically fit. a healthy body is enough to overcome a bad face. use skin care products to keep your skin smooth and unblemished. chew gum to fix an irregular smile. if you're still young, try facial massage. it works for girls because their skin and skull is a lot softer than guy's plus many girls are really just 1 or 2 steps away from being their prettiest. a crooked jaw, big flat nose and an overblown eyebrow ridge is very hard to fix unfortunately.

You cannot control your facial structure, your height, the way your hair grow and some other things but you can control pretty much every other thing in regards to your appearance so focus on that. Take care of your hair and skin. Workout and build a great body (that you'll also love and make you feel more confident), shave, learn how to dress classy and elegant and try to be confident and happy with a great smile which is something that magnetizes men even if you are not beautiful. You should also start to build the courage and ask the guys you like out.
Your personality would be important after you initialize the conversation or get in a date. Most guys like kind, sweet and submissive type of girls so you'll have the most chances this way. But if that's not your personality and you don't want to try if you like this, it's fine. Don't pretend something that you are not, it never ends well! But try to at least not be the type that is very "loud", gets angry and off very easily and is very "strong and independent".
And of course, the most important thing that most "ugly" girls do wrong and why they don't find a boyfriend is have standards that do matter. Cut things like "he makes make an X amount of money, he must be Xcm tall, he must have a car, a house, a big dick etc. etc. Man mostly care about a girl's personality, beauty and promiscuity. If you miss one, then you also shouldn't ask for too much from a guy. It makes sense and if you want a REAL advice which can help you, there it is! Focus on things that do matter like you want someone to do with you.
Use some makeup, develop your personality (as in, don't be ugly AND a b*tch), and realize you're living in the Age of Simps and still have it 1,000x easier in finding a genuine loving partner than any non-rich man under six feet tall, or most men less than a 7 in looks (which is, most men), so you have very little to complain about. ... Unless you're still entitled, narcissistic, and hypergamic anyway. Because even plenty of ugly women still feel entitled to 10 out of 10s.

If you are clearly losing the competition of physical attraction, then why even play that game. You can't shine a turd. Change the rules and use a different approach. Use personality/charisma to attract someone with similar interests. Realize that if you ugly, you'll likely end up with someone just as ugly, but if you both get along well and have common interests then maybe that works for you.
Remember personality is what matters most o...🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sorry I can even finish that without laughing.
Be realistic. That's really your best bet. And NEVER tolerate anyone who treats you as an option. It's better to be forever single than to be someone's option or doormat.
Find who you are and with that I mean who you are comfortable being, with that will come inner confidence. I was the 20 stone fat kid at school with no idea how to dress my self, but I figured it out one day in my late 20s!
Being well dressed, looking like you take good care of yourself, and having a great personality compensates for a ton.
You need to settle for who you can attract or do without, if that is no acceptable.
Be confident and flirty, then dress dare I say provocative see what comes of it. Even if you get a few creeps it will give you an Idea what kind of guys you attract.
Sleep enough, eat healthy.
Do crossfit and/or JuJutsu. Seek professional help if you have skin issues.
Have reasonable standards for a partner.
Dress up better
