Yeah, when someone is not interested in phone calls, they will likely not be open to the idea in the future. Whereas, if someone is not ready for phone calls now, they might be open to trying it out in the near future.

Personally, I prefer texting to phone calls merely because I like to think before I speak. Also, when I’m seeing someone new, I am very shy around them, so I’d need some time to get comfortable around them.
