Most people who are seeking a serious long-term relationship treasure same proximity or face-face contact. Texting is intrusive, unnecessary, and irritating for most guys. I do not need you bothering me while I am trying to work and live. Learn to compartmentalize your life or I am gone is where I would be coming from. And truthfully, if I were receiving demands to text throughout the, I would wonder if you had a job or a life. Working remotely is a little different though.

I'm the opposite: I love texting, but absolutely hate talking on the phone, or in person. If he's making a genuine effort to talk and spend time with you, just keep the texts short, sweet, and to the point... like to ask him to meet up or chat in person.
