So my ex boyfriend recently messaged me on Facebook and he told me I am the “one” and he apologized for losing me and saying he was not trying settle down and I was too much of a square for him at the time. Now that he is grown up, he wants a real woman which is me. He went on to tell me what he has been doing since we broke up in 2014 and he has been doing good. He got hooked on drugs, went to jail and rehab. He just got out of rehab, unemployed and leaving with his mom.
I told him that since we broke up in 2014, I graduated college and got my BA, I became a teacher, moved to a new state, got my own apartment, etc. Now he’s asking to move in with me because he says he wants a new start and I am the one for him. His mom called me and said the same thing that he should of never left me. I told him on going to my hometown and he doesn’t even want to take me on a date he want to get a hotel but he wants me to pay for it because he can’t.
I am confused on if my ex is just playing me and is homeless and need a place to stay or if he is just down on his luck. I’m not into him the same way that I used to be. I want a men that can take care of me or help provide, not a men that wants to live off of me.
