Do guys like you more when you like them less?

I know a few guys that when I did not like them, they were interested in me, and when I did like them, they were not interested in me. It seems girls are doomed only to attract guys they don’t consider to be attractive.

Many women falsely believe guys get turned on by this because they themselves are turned on by challenge. The stereotype about women getting turned on by asshole men exists for a sad yet true reason (not all women of course but too many). Also men are not “cat like”. We don’t seek out the only women in the room who isn’t giving us any attention

Anyway most women are naturally a pain in the ass in the early stages of dating. They subconsciously shit test men and don’t even realize they are doing it. Then there are isolated incidents where women go crazy over a guy they have a huge crush on. They wear their feelings on their sleeves and go too far in the opposite direction. That’s a turn off too but it’s much less common.

Anyway just never assume the behavior that turns you on will turn on the opposite gender. Yes it’s a sad human nature that we are often attracted to what is “hard to get”. But women who consciously try this bullshit almost always go way way too far and ruin what could have been a good thing.

Instead have more self control over your emotions. Take a deep breath and not assume the best or worst about a guy. If you attracted to him realize your brain chemicals will sometimes trick you into seeing things that may or may not be there. But don’t do something stupid and unnecessary until you have calmed down. If you are not that attracted to him then you don’t have to bend over backwards for him (women never do that anyways) but you have to RESPECT him. Attraction and respect are two different things.

I don’t think so. The best way to get a guy is to be available when he wants to hangout. You don’t always have to be available but at least give another day. Don’t play so hard to get that you are shutting him down and making him have to put in the effort to ask you out again on his own. That is how you push a guy away because he will perceive this as indifference or disinterest. The guys who will like this kind of chase are either severe narcissists or guys that are talking to multiple women and just shooting you a message in-between talking to other girls so the rejection doesn’t phase him much.

Also the way men and women deal with jealousy is completely opposite. It is also a terrible idea to try to make a guy jealous by flirting with another guy. For women, it might make them desire a guy more when they see him with other women but for men it’s the opposite. This is because when a girl gets jealous she often directs the anger at the other girl who is talking to “her man”. Whereas when a guy gets jealous his frustration is towards the woman who has decided to talk to another man. He knows that men are going to flirt with pretty women. Therefore he doesn’t fault the guy for talking to a girl he might like. He faults the girl for not shutting the guy down and is the fastest way to zap a guys interest in you.

As someone else already said, it's because we tend to become really awkward when we do like a guy. It's not because we like them that they get turned off. It's because of how this "like" manifests when you interact with him.

I've got this tip that I learned through someone once, and it really helped. Pretend the guy you like is gay or someone you've been friends with for ages. It really helps. It makes you be yourself around him and takes the pressure off. Of course, don't tell him you're thinking this. Just tell yourself that. I promise it works.

Let me give you a piece of game that will make your life a lot easier with guys. When women like men, women tend to get really awkward and it's not pleasant to be around. Men lose interest in women when women show interest, because women are socially awkward spazzes around men they like and it kills the attraction faster than the speed of sound.

It's awkward, it's forced, and basically all women do it. It doesn't matter how hot and confident a woman is in other aspects of her life; if she's not comfortable with who she is as a person, she'll turn into a 13 year old girl and it oozes of "cling" and desperation.

You'll run out of questions when you're constantly together therefore the learning process is shortened. You both had lives before each other and being in a relationship is no reason to end that.
