Let me guess, you're both pretty new to the relationship thing. It will change, over time. Not that it's a bad thing, but, both my girl and I are somewhat happy when the other person heads somewhere and we take a break. I know that sounds awful, but we do miss each other, and anticipate getting back to one another. It also makes you realize what you have when the other person is not around and makes you glad they are part of your life. We also have some new stuff to talk about.

That’s a sign of insecurity. It’s understandable to be sad but to cry is another matter. Reassure him but in the end if he’s that insecure about the status of your faithfulness then he never will be and you’ll end up with a bigger problem in the long run.
