Exactly as hurt as girls are when a guy they're emotionally invested in rejects her. Really awful. Like worse than you can really put into words. It's a uniquely awful feeling. But... it's one that everyone has to deal with. And he will be ok, in the long run. But he's really hurt. Naturally.

Its a horrible experience. I dont wish it on any one but at the same time I do. It made me realize things about life, about other people, and about myself. I can say that im a better me now compared to what I was when I was rejected. Although if any ladies are reading this, please dont offer or say"lets just be friends" to someone you just rejected no matter the reason. It really slowed down the acceptance and healing process. You doing/offering it just looks like you are giving me a shit consolation prize ESPECIALLY if you dont really mean nor want to spend the time to this friendship.

It kind of varies. It's best if the guyask her out sooner rather than later. Because it isn't the rejection that hurts so much as the connection. If you get to know a girl for about a month then ask her out it's going to hurt more then meeting her and asking her out the same day. Because woman and men alike create a quasi relationship in thier head.

Regardless don't worry about it. He's a big boy he'll get over it. There's 3.5 billion females on the planet. In that aspect you are not special. He just has to be reminded of that.

It's like a jagged rusty knife cutting into our dead hearts. We question everything we are as men and collapse inside. Well the ones who actually care about you not the players they couldn't give a fuc*. We get angry and frustrated as to what we did wrong because God only knows that no one save rich guys can live up to your impossibly high standards. We come to hate you and see no worth in ourselves. Some may attempt suicide some hurt ourselves in other ways. But yes it hurts and can last forever. I'm in that situation right now. Its been 3 years and it hurts just like when it hurt back then. I'm damaged from it and hate her more than I hate anything else in my life save my father's psycho family.
