Should I send him a like?

So I matched with this guy on Hinge without meeting & we talked for a while but he stopped answering after i called him "babe". After two weeks, I unmatched him because he never answered and also I noticed he added "looking for short term relationship" to his profile. & he was still super active on social media following a bunch of girls.

After I unmatched him, i saw he created a new profile. This time, his profile says 'looking for long term relationship, Christian, and want children'. So it was a bit bizarre. It seems to me he created the new prof so i could find him again or so that he could find me.

He hasn't sent me a like yet or anything so I am kinda confused about it. I am still kinda interested, not sure if i should send him a new like to re-match. Any thoughts?

What are you looking for? A short term relationship? Or a long term one? Most people know that short term is code for “friends with benefits without any feelings” or “one night stand”.

The fact that he ghosted you right after you called him babe goes on to show that he is emotionally unavailable and probably scared of commitment. If you want a relationship filled with all lovey dovey stuff, forget about this guy. I don’t think he made a profile only because of you.. A lot of people make new profiles all the time, and that is mostly to generate new matches.

I think you’ve honed in on him because you aren’t having luck on there, but if you’re trying to be smart then you’d see the man isn’t a good match. He hit the brakes hard af and went ghost directly after you called him babe, then in so many words wrote on his page that he wasn’t looking for anything serious, and I feel like that was for you to see lol. But yeah, let that go.

Exactly the point, he created an entirely new profile, leaving you behind the way he did. I don’t want to use the word desperate, maybe lonely is better, but it would be foolish to circle back to him. If you want a husband, set your standards higher, be patient and trust god.

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but I don’t believe he made a new page with you in mind. Back when I was using apps I’d see the same men all the time with new profiles. I think they do this to generate new matches for themselves and trying not to run into the same people. I know being patient is hard but hang in there! I met my current boyfriend a year ago and now I’m 31, and I didn’t meet him through an app, it was completely by chance. You never know what god has in store for you but don’t diminish yourself by going back to the person who ghosted you, or give him another opportunity to do it. He will devalue you because in his mind, even after doing what he did you still came back, and that will set you up for lots of mistreatment. I know initially there was a connection with all the flirting but he’s not the one. Don’t need a man to make you happy or less lonely.

I think that because he created a new profile with relationship goals completely opposite to his original profile. I'm suspicious that he is only trying to attract you by saying he is interested in a long term relationship just to get you into bed. Of course I could be totally wrong and he could really be ready for something long term.
