I dated a guy who didn’t tell me he had schizophrenia…or that he was off his meds…


That was the first and hopefully the last time I’ve had to wrestle a screaming naked man to the ground and rip a knife out of his hands before he can stab himself.


In other words, I think it really matters where you are on the spectrum.


Minor hallucinations are much easier to accept than nude suicide attempts.
