Intelligence, is number one on my filter list when looking for a woman that interests me. However, I have to distinguish between book smart and common sense intelligence.

If she is both great! If she is just book smart then my interest meter drops. She has to be common sense smart. If she is common sense smart then she can get my humor etc., and follow along in everyday life conversations and be quick with her comebacks. I do like to have a little friendly banter back and forth, it keeps things fun and fresh.

Being book smart is great in school and at work but being able to regurgitate a book or article has very little value in a relationship. If she can't keep up in a conversation then I would feel like I am the only one in the relationship.

Any man appreciates a woman who’s intelligent and thinks before she speaks, it’s fairly similar to how women view intelligent men.

Though plently of objectivity intelligent women have a very stuck-up altitude and aren’t as kind to their fellow humans, a massive turn-off for the majority of us. Men are naturally leaning to the kind & “innocent” type of woman, doesn’t matter if it’s necessarily true what traits we’re into but we definitely care and i don’t think anyone likes someone who’s arrogant and thinks they’re better then others.

Intelligent... I mean it depends on what you mean exactly when you say that.

I'd say it'd probably be really attractive to me, but I'd also be concerned that she might then look down on other people that aren't as "intelligent".
