The honest answer is it will be hard. At the very least you will have less availability than a girl without kids. He may be in a position of helping to raise them and they aren't his. And kids cost money so there will be financial considerations that come along too most likely.

I became a single mom at 28, finding people who are looking for a serious commitment right now is hard for anyone with the dating climate. My childless friends included. I’ve had people write me off because I’m a mom but I’ve also had plenty of interest. I’ve learnt that everyone’s lives are nuanced and it takes time to find the right match. Having children will be a dealbreaker for some people just as is religion, distance, politics, career etc we all just have to be patient to find a good fit. Of course the more effort you put into dating, the higher chance of finding it sooner.
