1.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. No. I am content with one. I don't need more. I don't have time for another person. I don't have any interest and love to give one to another person. The thought of me or my partner getting close to someone else is disturbing and disgusting to me.

+1 ylet’s look at some statistics real quick. 65% of marriages fail, and it’s usually due to cheating 50% of all people in relationships have admitted to cheating at one time or another the odds of having a happy relationship or not in your favor for monogamy, the thing about poly and open relationships is it’s not just one way to do it. It’s whatever the two people in that relationship decide works best for them. It’s completely customizable. Monogamy is pretty much straightforward. That’s how it is me personally if I were in a relationship with a woman and a lot of women today are openly bisexual. I would tell her to have as many female friends as she wants and I don’t have to be a part of that unless she decides she wants me to be a part of it and just become a part of it once doesn’t mean that it’ll be a continuous thing , and outside of that if we wanted to explore other people together as a couple and that be great, but I would only ever enter into such a thing if it was what both sides absolutely wanted. If one side enters into it because that’s what they think the other side wants send that just leaves room for resentment later on down the line and then that is also destined to fail.
10 ReplyNo to poly. I think if I was in a long term relationship (10+ years maybe less) and we wanted to try new things I might be open to trying a open relationship and/or swinging. I wouldn’t be able to just jump into it from the beginning of a relationship though cause I do think it’s important to build a strong bond with your partner and I don’t see that happening without time for one on one commitment. Me and said partner would also have to be 100% sure in ourselves, good communication, good boundaries etc

+1 yPoly yes open no. If i love a man i dont mind sharing him with people who would make him happy and whom he truly love and respect. But i am not ok with a man i love having sex with random strengers without me knowing them who he doesn't care about.

I fully agree with you about commitment and not with strangers. I come from a family background of plural marriage. The wife or wives (2-4) always have a say and need to be able to feel comfortable with each other as best of friends and sisters who have each other’s back. Even in plurality, there still must be respect and 100% fidelity
1.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. No especially an open relationship is a deal breaker because that just seems to be like an invitation to sleep around.
I'm also not fond of a poly relationship because I've never seen in work out long-term and to be a relationship should be able to go at least 5 years.10 ReplyPolyamory with two bisexual girls maybe, I am not going to agree with adding another guy.
30 Reply3.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. No way , to me it’s not even a relationship , it’s 2 selfish people using each other , I wouldn’t be excited that my girl is out getting plowed by some other guy and I don’t think she would be excited about me banging some other girl , so I don’t see how someone can be alright with their partner being with someone else and why they are t worried about STD’s is beyond me
00 Reply692 opinions shared on Dating topic. Polygamous maybe in the future. I've been in several in the past, they were fun, though tend to be short lived because of jealousy, or being very casual. Right now I don't want that though. I have a family and want to raise my kids in a two parent household, besides that doing so would take time, attention, and resources away from my family.
I've known other people who were poly with kids, and I'm not judging, it's just not for me right now.
00 ReplyYes, because I've been cheated on in every relationship I've ever had and I've never ended a relationship because of it. A terrible attitude can ruin a relationship though.
I know most guys would have a complete meltdown if their wife or SO was having sex with other guys or wanted to. However, I'm not like that at all.
Anyway, if my wife/SO wants sex outside the relationship, there's no need to sneak around. Just don't fuck my friends or get pregnant00 Reply2.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. No. It doesn't even make sense to be in a relationship at that point.
50 Reply13.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. I probably could. I'm not that emotional about sex. I like it, but I don't have a strong reaction to the thought of my partner being with someone else.
20 ReplyBetween those 2, I'd say that an Open Relationship's a "milder poison". Because anyone who's into Polyamory, might as well NOT marry anyone to begin with.

- +1 y
@chrissykerdock I am wondering that too I doubt there is much of a difference what about you?
- +1 y
@KaceyAppleJ88 i don't think there's any difference between the two
I have done it and it worked for me. Some people it probably won't work but I am not one of them;

+1 yA poly relationship, is "just friends". No matter how you slice it.
Why would you want to be "in a relationship" if you're going to have sex with a bunch of others
10 ReplyI have been with a couple they are fine with it, its very hot sexually for me, i have yet to see emotionally.
But i am okay with vanilla, whatever my partner wants, that's what i think
10 Reply3.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Yeah, considering I too would be polygamous in these things.
So long until I find another girl, that wants mutual monogamy.10 Reply- 3.2K opinions shared on Dating topic.
+1 yI am. But not open or poly like anything goes. I have two girlfriends and regularly date other women. They do not see other people. I'd say it's the best situation tbh.
10 Reply 3K opinions shared on Dating topic. Not unless I was extremely comfortable with them and wanted to do some kinky shit but have them come home with me at the end of the day.

+1 yYou say you wouldn't because you've been brainwashed into the Monogamy Cult.
Had you grown up in the Indigenous Native American tribes (many were polyamorous), you would've seen it much differently.

10 ReplyI am secure enough in who I am that I could be in a open relationship at this point of my life, yes.
00 ReplyNo, that’s not for me. I would be open to having 3-somes (2 guys & a girl or 2 girls & a guy) as long as we were all engaged (I wouldn’t be one to watch)
