Not ok , all cheating is wrong period , it’s a selfish decision to cheat on someone that you chose to be committed to as well , even though cheating occurs a lot it’s still a selfish decision that more than likely the cheater will suffer the consequences of their actions , You can’t expect someone to do for you if you can’t do for them period , Removing selfishness for each other in a relationship is the only way love will grow , if you can’t remove selfishness for your partner then don’t expect them to remove or for you period , understand that you are clearly a selfish person that shouldn’t be getting into a committed relationship if you do not know how to remove selfishness for your partner , We all have selfishness in us , and we can’t force someone to love us , we can only treat someone the same way we want to be treated , if you end up cheating on your partner immediately end that relationship and realize you truly don’t love your partner if you can cheat on them , don’t go back to them acting like you love them cuz you clearly don’t and all you will be doing is lying to their face every time you tell them you love them , You don’t love them , you only love yourself and you only like the convenience of them but you truly don’t love them, We can’t stop someone from cheating on us but we can stop seeing them if they do , We are all imperfect people , when you learn to respect and prioritize your partner and remove selfishness for your partner you will see Love grow , understand you can’t always be right and they are wrong , if you don’t want your partner cheating on you , then you need to prioritize them the same way you want them to prioritize you , So cheating is never ok , it’s a selfish decision period

Lets say you are in a marriage that is happy, with kids, all good, except... one person never want's sex. They are asexual, no interest in it, and no understanding of why anyone should want it. The won't agree to an open marriage because they think sex is "for making babies" and you have enough.

You can leave, and make everyone sad, or have an affair on the side t get the one thing that is missing in the marriage.

I don't think so but maybe we could come up w some elaborate situation where it would be. I mean unlikely stuff like you might see in a movie, for example if a villain poisons a loved one and will only give them the antidote if you sleep w him. Other than weird stuff like that the answer is no. If you would rather be w someone else, you should break up first, then you can be w the other person.

How can it be? The whole premise of cheating is that you are knowingly going behind your partners back and sleeping with someone else.

My question to the people, if there are any, who think that it can be justified is this...if you don't think cheating is wrong, then why don't you just go tell your partner about your activities.

Cheating is never ok and never is never a valid excuse for it. If your at the point in your relationship where your considering cheating then you miles well just leave the relationship or make an effort to work out the kinks in your relationship so that you don't feel that way anymore.
