Am I overthinking?

So I’ve been talking to this guy for about a month now. We talk everyday he always messages me in the morning we even talk on ft and even fell asleep on ft twice. We have a date tonight but he hast talked to me since 9pm yesterday. he had been taking a while to reply to my messages, He said he was really tired from work but I’m afraid he might not want to go on the date anymore. He talks about how much he likes me and I like him a lot too. He talks about being excited to see me. I have ocd so I tend to overthink everything and needed someone else’s opinion.

Guys are told not to talk to girls they like too much, especially before or after dates.

And tbh it's for good reason.

Our collective experience and wisdom is that the best way to make a girl think you aren't worth her time is to let her think she is important to you and you really care.

Chances are good that he likes you but he is just trying to play it cool. And it's working. You are excited to see him.

But the minute we start treating a girl better than we treat ourselves or our guy friends she starts thinking she must be "the prize" and goes off to find some guy who acts like he is better than her.

Then girls wanna know "why doesn't he text me more?"

He probably just doesn't want you to lose interest.

Don't worry unless he bails. Guys that are really interested in someone will go out of their way to make it work. If he gets flaky either he's not that into you or he doesn't really want a serious relationship.

So just wait for his actions instead of self sabotaging by overthinking 😆

Don’t waste your time girl not even going to lie to you. Speaking from experience when they act like they are excited to see you and what not and plan something. Then when the day is approaching and they aren’t responding as much. 90% of the time they will make an excuse to bail. Keep dating, act single until they ask you to be your girlfriend. Don’t settle.

I'd say to give it time before you create assumptions, the dude might actually be busy and it's possible you can be overthinking, after all, nothing has happened yet, thinking before anything happens normally is a sign of overthinking.

I don’t think that you are. But I’d give it time because my boyfriend’s a really good guy and there have been moments that he has also made me worried as hell because he didn’t respond for a while.

Do something simple like go over and watch a movie, or ask him what he wants to do with you, invite yourself over
