I am in a talking stage (get to know her by a relative). I came to know that she is still in contact with her ex. Like friends in Facebook, following in instagram and stuff?
She has never confessed that to me though. She is bit lost and never really want to talk to me either. Is she still hung up on her ex?

If you're just "talking", she has no obligation to tell you everything and anything. Whether she is still into him at all is definitely something you still have to take into account, but it depends on the circumstances. What if they were friends from childhood before they dated and the relationship ended amicably?

And you never know how things will turn out. One of my exes' ex-bf and I met when he tried to give me a hard time entering Germany from Austria (he was mad about seeing his ex come to his guard post with some new boyfriend). He and I later became friends.

I would say the ex is still in her picture and might go as far as to say she's alpha widowed... I mean... think about it... it's so obvious that you've become aware of it.
