many men say that their ideal date is a homemade meal by their women. which is fair enough, everyone has food preferences. but it also makes me say "ha! you don't have to rot next to the scorching heat of kitchen stove! so of course it is!!" so men, can you cook romantic dinners? and do it well?

Do Men Ever Cook For Their Dinner Dates?

What Girls & Guys Said

I have cook often and a lot for my dates and girlfriends. In retrospect I have cook 10 to every one dinner that she or they have ever cooked for me.
So yeah, a woman who cooks would make me feel pretty special.
I have cooked for dozens of dates and hundreds of other times.
Most men in my family can cook better than women.
Cooking dinner for (or with, even better) a woman I’m interested in is a go-to move for me, as a former professional chef. Proficiency in the kitchen is typically a turn on for most women. It’s a silly thing, but simple skills like tossing a pan or professional knife work are a low key wow factor. Combine that with a delicious meal, engaged conversation, and the relaxed comfort of a private home, it’s an ideal setting for an intimate evening. There are plenty of other elements I could introduce, but that’s a solid foundation.

Yes, I can cook and cook well (and I could do that long before I got married) but what's more is I know how to clean up after the meal.
Lmfao 😹😹
Cleaning is also important! My dad usually destroys the kitchen when it's his turn.
A asked a girl to come over for dinner when I first met her. My father had gone on vacation and I was house sitting for him. He had a setup in the fireplace so you could grill steaks in there. I bought some steaks and baked potatoes. I made ice cream and strawberries for dessert. It really went over big.
Well you obviously need a man... to buy you a cool oven so you can cook for him without getting scorched.
Seriously who has scorching ovens in 2023. Edison Electrics solved that problem just after WW2 - 78 years ago. Back then women did have hot wood burning. Yeah things were built better back then but ovens should have swapped out 4 times by now at least.
Men sometimes go into the kitchen to get their own lager, so don't think you can fool us with the hot oven routine now! :)
In the history of all civilization, there has never been one recorded act where a man has ever cooked for a woman for a date….. until I came along. I enjoy cooking and I’ll do this every once in a while. I find it relaxing to cook so it’s fun to do.
I cannot cook so most of our meals my partner makes. Of course I assist 😌
Back to the point, men really know how to chef it up in the kitchen. Even if they don’t, they’ll bs their way into an amazing meal if they really wanted to.
I enjoy cooking dinner. Romantic dinners are my best. I used to cook professionally in resorts and some nice restaurants while I was in college. I also cook Dutch oven style. I also run a smoke grill. Depends on how and what a person wants considers romantic.
I think it's wonderful cook a nice dinner for a woman and her, even though I know I have absolutely no chance whatsoever of getting my dick inside her. I've served several women in this manner and it's very sexy and erotic.
My boyfriend makes me homemade dinners that taste amazing. I’ve cooked for him before too but he is the better cook out of the two of us and does it a lot more than I do
I find it extremely sexy when a man cooks for me and it makes me want to make him happy too.
Yep, men cook for dates, I’ve often been invited on their cooked dinners.
Not sure where you got your stats from, but I would always offer to cook on a dinner date - unless she is some sort of grade a chef 😂
Im very romantic and for my girlfriend I can do everything. Cooking its my specialty.
Are you learning or is cooking one of your skills? Either ways, kudos
It is one of my skills now by trying everyday
That's very cool
At your own risk. Cooking isn't something that scores very high on my capability list 🤷♂️😂 If you are down for a half descend dinner then I will give it a try if you want
Sure. A lot of men are great cooks. My grandfather used to cook in the mornings, he still does sometimes
I Have Had a Few Do. And my Ex who is Still a Family and Business Partner, Of course. xxoo
You don't even offer a yes button. That says more about you than the poll itself. To answer your question, yes, very frequently.
Many do, just going by my experience.
