many men say that their ideal date is a homemade meal by their women. which is fair enough, everyone has food preferences. but it also makes me say "ha! you don't have to rot next to the scorching heat of kitchen stove! so of course it is!!" so men, can you cook romantic dinners? and do it well?

Well you obviously need a man... to buy you a cool oven so you can cook for him without getting scorched.

Seriously who has scorching ovens in 2023. Edison Electrics solved that problem just after WW2 - 78 years ago. Back then women did have hot wood burning. Yeah things were built better back then but ovens should have swapped out 4 times by now at least.

Men sometimes go into the kitchen to get their own lager, so don't think you can fool us with the hot oven routine now! :)

A asked a girl to come over for dinner when I first met her. My father had gone on vacation and I was house sitting for him. He had a setup in the fireplace so you could grill steaks in there. I bought some steaks and baked potatoes. I made ice cream and strawberries for dessert. It really went over big.
