+1 yCooking dinner for (or with, even better) a woman I’m interested in is a go-to move for me, as a former professional chef. Proficiency in the kitchen is typically a turn on for most women. It’s a silly thing, but simple skills like tossing a pan or professional knife work are a low key wow factor. Combine that with a delicious meal, engaged conversation, and the relaxed comfort of a private home, it’s an ideal setting for an intimate evening. There are plenty of other elements I could introduce, but that’s a solid foundation.

Yes, I can cook and cook well (and I could do that long before I got married) but what's more is I know how to clean up after the meal.12 Reply- +1 y

Seriously who has scorching ovens in 2023. Edison Electrics solved that problem just after WW2 - 78 years ago. Back then women did have hot wood burning. Yeah things were built better back then but ovens should have swapped out 4 times by now at least.
Men sometimes go into the kitchen to get their own lager, so don't think you can fool us with the hot oven routine now! :)00 Reply8.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. A asked a girl to come over for dinner when I first met her. My father had gone on vacation and I was house sitting for him. He had a setup in the fireplace so you could grill steaks in there. I bought some steaks and baked potatoes. I made ice cream and strawberries for dessert. It really went over big.

+1 yIn the history of all civilization, there has never been one recorded act where a man has ever cooked for a woman for a date….. until I came along. I enjoy cooking and I’ll do this every once in a while. I find it relaxing to cook so it’s fun to do.

+1 yI enjoy cooking dinner. Romantic dinners are my best. I used to cook professionally in resorts and some nice restaurants while I was in college. I also cook Dutch oven style. I also run a smoke grill. Depends on how and what a person wants considers romantic.

Back to the point, men really know how to chef it up in the kitchen. Even if they don’t, they’ll bs their way into an amazing meal if they really wanted to.10 Reply 18.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. Many do, just going by my experience.

My mom pulled aside my brothers wives and mine when we were just married and she made sure that the wives understood that her sons could cook and clean and do laundry and iron and fold clothes and mop floors so don’t ever let them lie to you and say that they don’t know how.
She raised six of us, and she worked her butt off to be the best mom that she could.
That included teaching us to be good men, which would mean being better husbands, and would mean being be even better dads.
