Why do women only date exclusively older men or men of the same age but never down?

I'm kind of confused by women's matching behavior. I have trouble attracting women my age because all of them look much older than me, and I don't want to date an even younger girl because of the maturity factor.

Although there are women thirsting for me on a daily basis, nothing really works to attract them privately. They just think I am not partnership material or sex material, so they always touch me accidentally and secretly to get a taste.

But what seems to work is dating older women in their 30s and 40s, and yes, they want to keep that a secret too. Should I be ashamed as a 20-year-old that I hook up with them?

Is there a stigma about young guys or younger-looking guys? Would you date a guy who clearly looks much younger than you? We're talking Tom Holland

Even he dates women who look the same age as him, to not feel embarrassed.

Seriously, women view of sex and relationship is always about love, security and companionship. This is because she's the one carrying the baby.

And instinctively, she wants a man who can take care of her and her kid after the intimacy.

And generally speaking, older man has what she needs to care for her kids, and provide her with security in days where she's most vulnerable.

Of course modern statistics may show otherwise

But again instinctively, that's the case.

Hence women in general choose men who are like their caring father, if she has one.

I hooked up with a few women in their late 30s when I was 18/19. All of us knew there would never be more than that and we didn't want more. We knew we couldn't or wouldn't give each other more than that.
When you're 20, you can't give women that age anything permanent or anything more than sex and affirmation. That's just the way it is.

Women like men based on their competence and psychological capacity which is always an age similar to their own while men are willing to take care of and protect a weaker and lower status woman and younger women have lower social status because their life experience is lesser and so is their professional skills.

For the same reasons you don't date younger women..
Maturity differences is a big factor. Plus, with age comes more life/career experience and from a logistical perspective, it makes more sense to date up unless you want to risk being taken advantage of financially.
