If this sounds familiar it's a Seinfeld episode. Where a guy Elaine was seeing didn't realize this was happening because the guy always presumably used a dating loophole to date without ever actually risking getting rejected.

I would not want that cause people should respond to an invitation because they both want to and not because its an obligation by somebody. A guy won't get a healthy woman if he acts like he isn't that interested in her or he hates taking care of her.

What do you mean. He's taking her out to dinner. He just lost a bet to do it. That was part of the joke of it all.😂 He didn't have to ask her out. I mean he showed her as much interest as she showed him. It was the ASSUMPTION that he was doing it this way so he wouldn't get rejected. She only came to this conclusion when Jerry pointed out the bet was whether Dustin Hoffman was in Stars Wars. And since Star Wars was so well known that Jerry said he deliberately made a bet he knew he'd lose and have the bet be dinner.

I thought you were using Seinfeld as an example of how you intend to invite or take a girl out to dinner. I did not care about Seinfeld cause I was a kid when it was on TV and that sort of stuff does not appeal to 6 year old kids.
