Some kind of social event or sport.

Cooed team sports are good, climbing has a pretty good community, hell even board game meet ups.

Anything that has somewhat structured socialization will help you break that barrier.

And keep practicing. Keep socializing. Humans are a lot like puppies - we need socializing to be good at it.

Think of the type of woman you'd like to meet, then go to a place that speaks to that personality. If you're looking for a woman who hikes, start hiking and exploring nearby trails. Someone who shops at Macy's? Then shop there yourself. A DIY person? Start attending local and free DIY workshops and going to craftstores.

Library ain't it. Card store and a park. Usually there's people looking for players for their game. You could grab a game and ask who'll join you. Some café and bars have this too but start simple with a card store since that's the primary reason they are there in the first place.

Exactly. A library is a good place for book worms, for introverts and people who want to be lost in the world of books… and just silence. No loud noises and it’s perfect to break the ice 🧊 to approach without being deemed as a creep.

Church, work, or school. Seeing them often enough can help you feel more comfortable with them and may even help you go up to them. You can start a conversation with them just by asking them for help on a task if you’re at work or school or, if you’re at church, join a connect/small group or Bible study that they’re in.
