Do women really care about how much money a guy has when dating?

This question it's inspired from the PMs I've been having with a fellow G@ger, starting from my question about lending money to an ex.

In my experience the answer is - it depends. I have noticed that some of the women I know radically changed the way they related to me when I first became my father's main heir two years ago, but I've also taken note that others have pretty much been always consistent (ie. my wife wanted me back when I still had to have a job for a living and she often provided for me) and even now the balance hasn't changed.

It's already all "locked up" in a number of bank accounts and trust funds, and we assembled team of lawyers, accountant, qualified tax and investment advisors to administrate and regulate all the assets and the income generated by said assets.

More than the assets themselves, I'm concerned with consolidating my share in the family company, both for the revenue and control over it as I'm not in the board.

I think a small minority of women are obsessed with finding a guy with money to take care of them. Most women who are planning to have children want to find a man who can at least support a family and allow the wife to stay at home with the kids. And a small number of women absolutely have no regard for money.

About how much the guy has…hummmm…most don’t. Especially in the US because most young people are in debt.
my generation…some do…most care more about what the guy do. there are always a few who only look for money.

I'd care. Just because I don't intend to be that pushover girl who will buy anything for him because he's out of money. Pay for your own shi or stay in your basement

Most people care about having enough money for all the necessities of life. Some care because the things they enjoy in life cost money. Others care about status.

I don't see any particular problem with considering money, as long as people realize that there are a lot of other important things too

Some do, but most don't. Don't believe the nonsense you read online about gold diggers. It is exaggerated beyond belief.

Any woman who tells you she doesn't care is either super based and knows what it takes to earn a buck, or she's lying.

Which kind of lady you're dealing with will only become apparent through interacting with her. Usually a woman who genuinely doesn't think money matters will present herself at a level comparable to her means.

Yes. But the degree will vary depending on the woman. If you th8nk it doesn't matter at all to any woman, then you're kidding yourself.

Totally depends on the woman. If a woman makes around the same salary as he does then she won't care but if the woman makes a significant more money than he does then she will most likely care what the man makes.
