Why is a tall man allowed to like a short woman but a short man can't?

Whenever a tall guy likes short women they seem to reciprocate and praise him like a God. Whenever a short man does he seems entitled and seen as a creep/loser. Short women will buy into the attention of tall men giving them attention but will almost always neglect short men that actually try to go for them. I'm 5'4 and the women that give me the most shit for my height are 4'10 to 5'3. I'm apparently not allowed to like short women unless I was a tall guy.

If I were a foot taller like 6'4 and these girls were nipple height to me they would immediately change their reaction. I've also noticed that tall guys seem to feed into the egos of short women making them cocky and entitled as well. A 5'0 woman even told me "you're so short. Why should I even go for you? I get enough tall guys already. Bye." And basically like rubbing into my face how better tall guys are even if they look like a gorilla.

You're running into the wrong women. Don't know how you find these short, meanies, but I've hung out with short and tall men and I'm 5.2". I didn't marry a tall man: He was 5'7"-- so our son is right between us: 5'5". He doesn't seem to have any issues meeting women of any heights, however.

And I've never heard him complain about women's attitudes toward him because of his height... The women he's been with seem to be slightly shorter or slightly taller. So I'm thinking most of them like his personality no matter the package he's wrapped in.

I think you should ignore these "rules" you think apply. They aren't the rules. It 's what fits and works for you.

Usually cities and apps. I live near NYC and you can bet the amount of people there. Even the gay men living in NYC want tell men only. NJ/NY is the worst because a lot people tend to be super picky and sometimes very trashy. Apps are pretty much a mess. I feel like when the women is well below average height like probably getting shorter than 5'2 they want taller guys. It's some kind of insecurity thing. Same reason why some tall guys don't even want tall women but want a woman like dick height or something. I find it weird.

Meetups are great ways to meet people who are interested in similar things you are. It's not just abuot dating, but about doing fun things and meeting new people and making friends. Friends and family and sometimes work intros are better ways of getting to know folk. Friends know what and who you're likely to enjoy. Apps are limited.

Be confident about who you are. Walk with a straight back. Smile and be personable. Average male height is 5'9"... same height as Humphrey Bogart. Only 7 percent of men are taller than 6 feet. So I dont know who these people are who are looking for all these tall men. Might need to move to Belgium. They're tallest people. But the differences are only by about 2 inches.

Only 3 percent of men are taller than 6'2". So what is all this height madness about? These "tall men" don't exist. OR there are so few of them, what is the point?

Everybody's the same height lying down. Really. It's too superficial to matter. Content of character. Not length of long bones.

15% of men are actually tall. Out of 100 men there still will be a good portion of tall men. If women like tall men enough they will filter out all other men in favor of them which literally does happen. Most tall guys aren't even that good looking but from what I observed that if a tall guy is very ugly, then he'll still get picked over other guys if the woman is that severely obsessed with tall men. Out of all the women I would have to say that women below 5'6 are usually obsessed with tall men. Its ironic because all of this social media garbage about women wanting tall men and announcing their love for it to the world are hardly even 5'2. There are instances in which average height men get told they are too short by a tiny pixie fairy of a woman like 4'10 that they're too short. Meanwhile I have seen tall women perfectly content about being with a man immensely shorter than her even guys my own height of 5'4. This world is crazy

14% are 6ft are taller. Meaning out of 100 men 14 are 6 ft. But by 6'2" it's half that and past 6'3" half again.

This is the same obsession about the 6 inches, 6 feet six figures. It's superficial. You think anyone cares that Kevin Hart is 5'2"? He's funny and energetic and has a giant bank account! And I bet he was funny and energetic when he didn't have a plug nickel.

There is a GIANT prejudice for taller men. Not that short ones aren't just as successful. There is no correlation between height and physical beauty. No tall people or more of less ugly than short ones.

I only relate my own experience, when Is say that I've liked men of all heights, but it DID seem that taller men were attracted to me. I don't know if this fed THEIR insecurities of having to have the Caveman ideal (man big, woman small).

I encourage my short son to date tall women because his kids will end up average height. Luckily, he, like his mom, has a big personality and this makes up for lots of his length issues, as it does for me. My mom was 5'7", dad 5'9. Both my grandmother and great grandmother, who I knew, were taller than me. So, maybe I'm the milkman's daughter. My brother, at 5'6" also shorter than my parents. But he married a taller woman!!! Seee!!!

I'm not going to pretend I know what it's like to be short as guy, but you should focus on what you can change and improve in your life instead of this. Overthinking about height is possibly one of the biggest crutches I've seen for guys.

I have two friends in particular who are 5'5/5'6 and they do not have a problem getting girls. Their faces are average, but they have clean fits and their personalities are fun to be around.

Yeah but like that's not really a good situation to be in. It would be better if he found a woman that he was with for a very long time without any divorce issue. Don't know if it's the case but the first divorce could have happened because the woman found him physically unattractive at some point and wanted to dump him which is a good reason to. The second one the woman might just be settling cause other taller guys are assholes.

No it's not just taller. It's immensly taller. Short women are usually more picky about it. They want a guy at least average height or taller. Taller women just want a taller guy. I've never met any women below 5'4 that was okay with a man being below 5'7

My mom is 5'4" and my dad's only 5'9" or 5'10". They've been married 35+, happily. You don't NEED to be 6'. I think women just prefer you be taller than them, because it feels like you can protect them that way.

However, I do know girls that will marry shorter. Stacy Keibler has 41 1/2" legs and is 5'10" I believe. The guy she married is shorter. Of course it helps that he's a millionaire

@ButthurtGAGpeople1 the worldwide average height is 5'3 for a woman. USA average height for women is 5'4. Even in other countries with average height above 5'5, a 5'4 woman is not that short. Very short in my opinion would probably be like under 5'1.
