+1 yIt is PRECISELY possible for a person to be attracted by another person's odor.
Women AVOID MEN WHO SMELL DISSIMILAR TO THEIR FATHERS!!!
I would also think this has to do with women who have GOOD FATHERS that they are attached and attracted to! This also has to do with health. Women with healthy fathers choose men who smell similar to their dads as a biological imperative.
There appears to be a strong connection to bodily health and body odors. Think of the guy with the worst breath you've ever encountered. Bad mouth odors are linked to digestive problems, as well as tooth decay: TWO possible problems.
And the most obvious problem with a person with unpleasant body odors would be poor personal hygiene. Does this guy ever take a bath or use body powder or deodorant? You don't have to remove every trace of odor, but bacteria propagate on the head, under the arms and in the genital areas if someone doesn't wash regularly.
Also, odor arises from your hormonal mix. Women, as well as men, have a body fragrance, even AFTER BATHING.. Most people can't determine what that odor is unless they're physically close through a hug or slow dancing. But dating couples will soon find out.
And I expect this extends to all couples, gay, straight and otherwise. If you had healthy parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, you're looking for the same odor brew in friends and potential mates!
And, personally, I'm highly offended when people wear TOO MUCH FRAGRANCE. IF you get in an elevator and can whiff the cologne/perfume of the person who was just there, there was too much!
Fragrance should be dabbed on wrists, the base of the neck and behind the knees: hot points on your body that will disperse fragrance quickly. And don't LADLE it on. You only need a splash.
Remember perfumes are heaviest, cologne lighter and eau de toilette lighter still. Those are the most commonly sold fragrances. There is something called eau fraiche, which means fresh smell, which is lighter still.
I use cologne, which lasts 2 to 4 hours. And I use one that HAS a fresh smell: not heavy on flowers, but woodsy/mossy. Something more natural than a heavy floral.
The choice is yours, but don't knock folk over with your unnatural fragrance, NOR your unwashed odor. Be kind to others. Cleanliness and a bit of fragrance and everyone will love you!!!

+1 yOh absolutely. Men don't understand how much it increases their attractiveness when they smell good.
If you're talking about natural fragrance, well, that's also possible. I myself am not big on perfumes because I come from a family with two members who are very averse to any perfume smells and I am aware that there are people in public who are allergic to perfumes and stuff so I only wear it on special occasions. On a regular basis I use skincare products that smell good and it does add up because I do get compliments on how I smell even when I have no perfume on.

+1 yI'm guessing yes. Every girlfriend would always buy me what they liked and forced me to wear it. When my wife and I first started dating, she hated my cologne so much, she threw it away and told me she "accidentally broke it". The next day she gave me a bottle of what she liked.

+1 yI've gotten compliments on my choice of cologne a few times, even though its literally a store brand cologne... I like the smell of it and so does my wife, and the price is right, so why not? People don't always believe me when I tell them its from Target.

+1 yI think it's possible in some way, not fully but I believe it can participate in forming their first impression towards that person, for example if you smell like lemons and some guy smells it in the moment of meeting You, next time he smells a Lemon, you'll be the girl that smells like lemons to him
10 ReplyYeah, you would impress me if you wore Black Orchid by Tom Ford or one of the fragrances by Montale. Both are unisex scents and they're my favorite scents, I would be impressed by someone if they wear my the. without me telling them to do so. It would be a fun coincidence if a stranger wore them.

+1 yYes, of course. People are fascinated by smells. I have experienced it twice in my life, one was with my ex-boyfriend, he simply loved my perfume smell. My current boyfriend loves my original smell and tells me to not put any perfume to hide it. They really do like it. I am more of a person of complexion smell, so I would be enchanted if one's own smell is attractive. This is one of the traits my boyfriend has that I cannot forget even if we meet less than many couples.

+1 yyes! pheromones.
its said that we are most attracted to someone’s smell when their genetics are different from ours, in order for genetic compatibility. the more different we are, the higher of chances for our offspring to survive.
so when you're attracted to someones smell (without perfume), your bodies are compatible.00 Reply2.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. I like it when a woman smells nice, but not overpowering. It should be subtle.
Even the fresh smell of shampoo, soap or lotion is nice. But a hint of nice perfume can also be attractive.20 Reply- 1.2K opinions shared on Dating topic.

10 Replyyes deffinetly the smell from women can also attract men
