Probably, one thing insecure people never seem to understand, that no matter how insecure you are, you eventually end up projecting that insecurity onto others. Usually not intentionally, and that's what makes it even more frustrating, because the person doing it never can admit or see all the ways in which they are doing it.

Please less then honorable men, that are turned off by insecure woman... use it to take advantage. This a truth that tends to feed more into their insecurities, then it promotes a need for positive growth.

That depends on how he is as a person and how your insecurities manifest. If you have to post your body and life on social media for attention then that is a no. If you need reminded that your partner is attracted to you a little more than normal that is okay. Just realize your insecurities are your problem not your partners. As in don't expect for him to give you anything you need just to not feel insecure.

The better solution would be to find out why you are insecure, so this isn't even an issue.

I know about my insecurities but i can't find a way to get rid of them. My boyfriend makes me feel beautiful but it's just for the moment. It's been years and i don't know what to do

Try therapy. You might think you know why, but if you did, you could probably fix it. For example, if you thought you were fat when you know you're not, that isn't knowing the issue. Knowing the issue would be finding the root cause, like maybe your mom fat shamed you, etc. Then you have to go heal that part of you.

Yes, if insecurity drives women away from men, you should assume the same is true in a role reversal

As long as it doesn't cause issues, then it's fine. You experiencing insecurity, but healthily communicating it exists or even just stating "I feel insecure" to your partner is fine. You are informing your partner without venting about it and blaming them as the cause.

Any venting and advice should be left to a therapist. Venting once in a while about personal mental health issues is fine, but anything else is pushing your issues onto your partner.

The main point to take away is that there's a difference between communicating your issues/struggles and putting it on your partner. This applies to friends/family, too.

not really. men are a lot more tolerant of women's behaviors than society gives them credit for

Not unless you make it his problem. We all have insecurities. The healthy thing to do is to own them. Share them with your partner. They have insecurities too.

If you are afraid to let your partner know you, you will never feel loved.

It shouldn't. If your boyfriend is kind and understanding he should be willing to help. I certainly would. It is ok to talk to him about it and ofc it is ok to talk about sex with him. Are you two sexually involved... if so to what extent?

It can be a turn off. It’s hard to say for sure without specific details and knowing him.

Insecurity is a turn off. If it wasn’t, then why is it women want confident men
