walk right up to him, ask him, let him know you are interested, hand him your number tell him to call you and look back at him at least once or twice as you are walking away.
Unless he is a zombie he will get the hint that you are interested in him, or simply walk up to him and ask him to join you for lunch, coffee, drinks, a nooner, whatever.
If you don't act on it/him someone else might be planning to do the same.
Sometimes you have to face the fear of being rejected and go after what you want.
Guys have to do this all the time.
Opportunities like that do not come around all that often, so take the initiative and go get him.
