Trending & News First, you hold hands and you see how she responds. Then maybe put your arm around her waist as you are walking side-by-side. At the end of the date, you give her a full body hug that lingers a bit. Then you keep your arms around her waist and pull your face back and look into her eyes. Move your lips slowly towards hers; if she doesn't want a kiss on the lips, she will turn to the side and you kiss her cheek. If she closes her eyes and tilts her head slightly, you kiss her on the lips. No tongue, just lips. Next date, she will want more!
I would say if you were getting the right vibe, and you really put in the right type of effort... then there is nothing wrong with it. I mean at this point in time in my life, at 47, if she finds me going in for a kiss on the first date offensive then it probably not going to work out anyway.
But honestly, you should know when it's not right. But if are getting all the right vibes, and she gets pissed. Then yeah, you would want to know that right?
I said no because for me personally I don’t want to kiss a guy on the first date. Generally anytime I was talking to someone romantically or went on a date with someone and did kiss them we started dating immediately after. So in my head if we kiss that is the green light that we are going to be boyfriend and girlfriend like right away so obviously can’t do that with just anyone whether the attraction was there or not
It's a no for me if I don't know the guy for a longer time. I don't wanna smooch a stranger. I think people need to really try and read each other's signs, if no one says something and it isn't very obvious that it's going well. Personally... I always melt when a guy asks me if he can kiss me. There's something so romantic and hot about it, I can't help myself.

I think that answer depends on the “she” involved… Some women might be okay with it and some will not… 🤷♀️
Yes, let her know you're interested.
In most cases, if the date went well, yes. I mean, what are you supposed to do, shake hands?
But don't just kiss her. Definitely don't grab her and kiss her. Read her freaking signals. If you step close and gaze into her eyes, her body language will tell you if she wants you to kiss her or not.
On first dates with two different girlfriends, after I walked one to her car and one to her front door, I was being a gentleman. They turned looked searchingly into my eyes, put their hands on top of my shoulders, rose up on their tip toes, pressed their bodies gently against me, I put my hands on their waists and leaned my head down, and they gave me a tender, lingering kiss. No tongue or anything, but very tender.
Yep. First try touching hands, then kiss somewhere safer like a forehead maybe.
Last week, I was kissed on a forehead, I closed my eyes with pleasure, then he kissed my nose, it made me chuckle and then he kissed my lips which left me stunned but all in all I enjoyed.
It's dependent on the feeling of the date. There have been some where a kiss is definitely not suitable, other times, it was good not to kiss to leave some suspense and other times it's hot and heavy and is definitely going to happen. Read how the date feels and go from there. If there's tension that feels like a kiss is appropriate, do some physical tests, hold their hand, make other hand contact, etc and gauge how they reciprocate.
Tough question.
Was there any physical contact between you.
Did she put her hand on your arm or shoulder when she laughed at your bad dad jokes, was she stand offish, never leaning into you when you were talking, legs tightly crossed with her top legs foot pointed away from you.
A person's body language can be a good indicator of should or shouldn't lean in for a kiss.
I was 16 on my wedding night. It was my first time and he came within 30 seconds and I was glad because it was sore but to my surprise we were lying on our backs and he reached down between my legs and started to rub me and I squirted all over the bed crying and emotional. I didn't know what was happening
That was a little off topic but I hope things are better for you now though. I eased into it slowly over a week or so with my wife, I wanted her to feel comfortable and trust me. I wanted it not to suck for her. 16 sound a little too young.
If my husband had tried to kiss me on the first date, there would have been no second or third date.
I would have found it creepy that he wants to put his mouth on me after meeting just once.
I can't remember a first date where I didn't get really flagrant "kiss me" signals. Wouldn't the lack of that indicate the date didn't go well? Even the "meh..." dates still asked for a kiss at the end.
No I would not go for a kiss on the first date. Normally I wouldn't even think of it. There might be exceptions where the conversation and dynamic leads that way. But normally not.
Nah, it'd need certain context for that to happen. I've done it before, but we had known each other for years and I could see it in her eyes she wanted to. If you don't see that, then don't go for it
If it’s just the average date and the two are getting along well, no absolutely not.
If for some reason they have an INTENSELY strong connection already and they are both being obviously flirtatious, then yeah he should go for it.
Ifvthat's what he wants and thinks she'd be ok with it.
Look man each woman is different. If she agreed to go out with you she likes you on some level. You're not out of line by attempting. If she really don't want you to yet she'll let you know. But there's no rule that says just because you took her out you have to kiss her.
Don't overthink this.
For me is an absolute and big NO. I would cringe very hard if guys tried that with me on the first date, before even ASKING if the can.
I’m a person who overthinks a lot and these moments are very sensitive and emotional for me, so I really have to get comfortable with the guy before anything happens.
I suppose it will not hurt to try. If a girl likes him, she will not reject him for trying. If she does, he is marginal at best so her interest will not last much longer anyway.
Why there should be some kind of a timeframe or a schedule. It depends on the situation. If both have great time together, maybe even one of the best days in their life, why not?
It really depends on the girl and the circumstances I think.
Maybe she's enjoying the date so much BECAUSE you're not trying to kiss her.
I don't think there's a hard fast rule for this sort of thing, sorry.
Yes, but I always kneel and kiss a woman's feet after the first date.
The answer is No. Irrespective to whether the woman is enjoying the first date or not.
No, being that fast with touching is how you get stds.
Move in closer, kiss her cheek and breath into her ear. You will know straight away if she would like a kiss on the lips.
I don't see why not. I'd ask in certain situations. Sometimes, even if she's receptive, she may not want to at first.
Hold hands, see how she responds and slowly escalate the touching.
Yes, that's the only way to avoid to be friendzoned.
It doesn’t have to be on the first date. You have to follow her eyes to see if she wants to kiss. On the third date
As a rule I do not kiss on a first date. To me kissing is very intimate and I do not know her well enough that soon.
Yes, he should do that so that he will find out if there is any desire in her end or if he's just wasting his time and money.
It's very weak and unsexy when a guy "asks for consent." Stupid retards.
Consent is really important, bdsm is all about discussion before hand and then execute CNC. Consentual Non Consent.
So I would give a little tests here and there but be respectful of her space and ask. It wouldn't be a blow to my man hood. Honestly I woukd think a guy asking would be respectful of her boundaries and also "its a big litmus test" of is she blinded of the abuse and risks involved with the escalation.
Why can't I talk to my partner about this activity. We can always act like its the first time. ((You do it with small tests, touch here and there and hands eyes locking i would imagine. lol))
Not until he's verified her dental health and cold sore status.
Yea I think so but a guy dosent have to make the first move the girl can too
Naaah I don't like that and first of all always ask for consent
the song "don't say a word go on and kiss the girl " was only for the mermaid after they knew each other
It's too soon on a first date, But you can try on a third date.
Depends some men don't understand cues sometimes it's good for the woman to get close and make it more known that it's okay rather than just go in for the kiss
Hubby did more than kiss.
If he bought her dinner he's entitled to a blowjob at least.
Yes he should. 100%.
Too soon, in my opinion.
If she's trying to get cozy with him
That depends on how the date is going?
Not unless it comes up in the moment
I think so.
I personally would hate that
No I personally wouldn’t do to
