Is it ok to go on a first date without money?

I think it should be the standard. If the thought process is, a woman shouldn’t be expected to put out on the first date, then a man shouldn’t be expected to pay… to eliminate those expectations, then a free first date is optimal. Would eliminate the woman just going to get a free meal and a make having to invest resources into someone who may not be worth it. Nor would the woman feel pressured to have to preform or do something because of what she got. I advise men, if a woman gets pissed that you didn’t take to a fancy restaurant and whatever. That’s a serious red flag. First dates should be where you get to know each other with as little resources as possible invested into it until you fit together.
You should never leave the house without money/money equivalent. You don't know what could happen while you're out. If he invited you out, the date should be on him. If the date goes incredibly poorly he's likely not getting you an uber home.
so long as you're both clear on that, then sure.
when i dated I was upfront on my financials, and would rather wait until I had my money to pay for myself then assume the dude was paying.
so? i know I wasn't dating for the wallet.
I don't think that's a gud idea... always go with sum backup or be ready for alternates in case... lol

Did he say he will pay for everything?
Any time a woman goes out on a date with me, she won't pay one red cent for anything whatsoever,.
For a woman, it's fine. However, given the current state of "gender equality", which isn't equality at all, a man must be prepared to pay for both his and hers. Obviously, the eradication of traditional gender roles has only applied to the ones that don't benefit women.
You should always have some cash with you. It is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it
Some guys are fine dating a broke gal but you should maybe check before getting the bill.
Also don't insist on going to the most expensive place.
It’s ok however if the first date doesn’t go well & you don’t drive it’s always good to have a back up plan unless you want to walk home.
HECK YEAH!! Why does it have to cost money? All you need to do is get to know each other.
It's okay as long as you can pay for things with your phone if necessary, like an Uber.
No. Someone can promise the sun, the moon, and the stars, but have money on hand just in case he doesn't / can't deliver.
Ass, gas or grass nobody rides for free…. lol
depends who's buying, if it's him your good
No for both parts involved.
