Hi!
I'm interested in a colleague, but before I ask her out, I want to make sure she's single.
I asked her about being spoiled during sickness with humour. "How hard did your illness hit you? Like you order around your boyfriend like: please do that, please do this for me, I can't do that coz I'm so weak right now.."
She didn't answer directly.. more just giggled/smiled with "yeah🙄😅"
Overall she seems shy, I think. But to others she's chatty.
But to me, just answer like "oh well, he's so lazy anyway blabla".. if you're not single.. but it might just be me..
What do you think?

This is the part that makes me think she has a boyfriend since she directly mentions it "oh well, he's so lazy". Why would she say he is lazy if there is no he? That leads me to believe she does indeed have a boyfriend or is at the very least seeing some guy. The rest of it is too much of a gray area to say one way or the other. The other thing is where you asked if she ordered her boyfriend around and she gave a positive yeah. I say between those two things I would assume she is taken.
Oh, sorry.
She didn't answer that.. it was me thinking it would be that (kind of) answer naturally if you're not available..
Oh oh. I just misread then. Okay so then if she didn't answer it that way I would lean towards single maybe. The reason I say that in light of what you just corrected me on is because if she is chatty with others and somewhat shy with you it might be because she has a bit of a thing for you. That isn't 100% but I am assuming. Natural to get a little shy around a crush or someone you like.
She's probably available or rather she's about to two time. Women cheat more than men statistically. Men sleep around but women have a deep relationship.
Shoot your shot. What's the worst that can happen? She saying no helps your cause. Now, you can go for another girl
And hopefully not cozing too awkward situations in corridors hence fourth.
Nothing will be awkward unless you end up dating another girl then she will get envious
Just ask her out and see what she says.
Hm not when we're colleagues.. it will just be weird
