Girl I am dating seeing/texting multiple guys. What should I do? Is this normal?

Been dating a girl since late September, and last week she lets is spill that she is seeing/texting other guys while dating me. She states that she is 30 years old, and says something about her biological clock. So she is dating a couple guys at once, but I didn't ask how many. She says that right now I am by far the best man by miles compared to the other men, and she has only kissed me, and no other guy. Is this normal? I only ask because I am a doctor that recently graduated from residency, and spent the last 12 years under a rock in the dating scene.

So is this normal for women to do this? I don't feel like it is normal, or acceptable to me? Do I have the right to be upset? She sounds like she is just looking for the next best thing. I am right?

Unfortunately this is normal.

Usually when a girl does this to me I say that she has to make a choice, either drop the other guys or I'm out.

I'm not interested in a girl who isn't willing to commit at all, the good thing is that she seems honest about it but I think you should draw a hard line if you're thinking about building a future with her. If you do think long term she shouldn't involve other men and neither should you involve other women.

A girl as her most value on the dating market when she is young attractive and hasn't had many relationships yet

A guy is attractive in his 30's when his career is taking off and getting his shit together. Like money and status.

If you think she's the one for you then go ahead, although just know that if you are a doctor with a 6 figure salary or close to it there are plenty of other fish in the sea. Your options are likely better then hers because once my career started I barely had time to date 1 woman, forget about multiple. So her plan is rather obvious.

It is normal until you have a discussion about wanting to date exclusively. Tell her that's what you want. Maybe she is simply waiting for you to tell her you want monogamy.

Have you both talked about being exclusive? If you’re just going on dates some people will talk to multiple people but if you asked her to be your girlfriend then obviously that isn’t okay. I know for me personally I am incapable of talking to more than one person at a time whether we are official or not and tended to go for people who treated relationships the same way. If you genuinely like her make it exclusive and if she doesn’t drop everyone else at that point move on.

This is pretty normal, you would be a fool to only focus on one potential partner if it isn't exclusive yet.

But the direction its going sounds well from her side. Just wait until she comes up with the exclusive talk.

I think if you have not asked her if she wants to have an exclusive relationship with you then she can date other guys but so can you date other girls. A doctor would be a hot commodity and maybe you could do better. Your clock is ticking too,
