I don't like coffee dates, I would rather visit an affordable low key place like Jimmy the Greek which last time I checked was around $11 a person. Coffee is around $2 a person. This is for a first date. After a while, I prefer a slightly better experience, maybe Pizza Hut or Chopt Salad type of food.
that's like speed dating. never did neither. but sounds like an ok idea to meet many people cheaply... we'll if you call $7 coffee cheap...
good grief, that swill used to cost $1.25 a cup.
why not go back to the old days where people hang around a bar, drink coffee, read newspapers, and talk? sounds lot better...
I would not call myself a fan...
but I am not against them... I am about the person I am with, and if I like the person, trust me I would enjoy the most of it... whether at a cafe... or the dumpster outside 7/11
I've always made it worth
The coffee date is my preferred option for a first date. It is relatively easy and inexpensive place to meet for a first get to know you, see if we think we've got enough in common to move onto the second let's spend a little more time getting to know each other over an Olive Garden inexpensive lunch date.
Thanks for the MHO!

I love going on coffee and tea dates. Not even just romantically but with friends too. You can talk over a hot drink or just sit together and read your book. It is comforting and there isn’t any pressure there
I’m a fan of coffee, if that counts 😁🤣
I enjoy it. I love a good latte and I like that coffee dates are more casual so it takes away some of the pressure on everyone.
I don't mind that. Especially for a first date and you're just getting to know each other
A lot of women expect serious money spent on them on a first date. If she agrees to a coffee date as a first date she's usually worth a 2nd date.
I don't drink coffee, so if we're meeting up casually in the evening, maybe it can be at a juice bar if you don't want anything alcoholic.
I'm hopeful that I won't ever have to worry about the dating scene again :-). I'll just skip right to our date nights.
Coffee comes as a job interview amd not one to be taken seriously as a date. It comes across as more friendly than possibly romantic.
Yes and no. Some can be pretty boring and just low effort. But if it's themed somehow (cat cafe, HP one) then it can be awesome. Also it with the right one even going grocery shopping would be fucking amazing.
I'm a HUGE fan of coffee dates or any low-cost, low stress kind of date where you can talk at length with the person.
No, I am more active so if we get a coffee, we will walk and talk... just sitting there feels like a lot of pressure as well. I want to get to know you but it doesn't have to be like an interview.
Never done it since I don’t drink coffee…
nowadays I do go on dates with hubby to tea houses sometimes.
Yes, I think it gives you a chance to chat over things in a comfortable public area.
As I've gotten older and seen my time premium skyrocket, I appreciate coffee dates a lot more now than I did.
Yes, for a first and often second meet up. Maybe I'm cheap, but I'm not plopping down $200+ buying a meal for someone I do not know unless it is for a potential client.
It's nice to get coffees and go a cross the street to the park.
Anytime is a good time for coffee.
Yes, very much so.
I'd be a fan of any date which got me closer to bopping my broad.
Yes I like them. Good clean casual fun date
Feels like a job interview
