And it made me think of how many people there are out there that lie about characteristics about themselves. Personally I’m not a fan of lying, cause I wouldn’t like a girl lying about herself to me.

I have been scammed myself, and I've learned one thing before you start chatting with someone online, always do your background check online. Yes, I have been a victim of Catfish, but I caught on to them before it got too deep into their plans. I don't Catfish women and don't like to be catfished in return. Usually you can te because most catfishes are lazy they'll almost always make a lazy mistake. Like list themselves as black and post a white girl's pics.🤣 some ate less glaring but they usually make one. They lie so much they can never keep straight the lies they are telling. Also we all know are relative level of attractiveness. You KNOW when she has really attractive picture it's a catfish. Because no woman who looks like that is seriously on a dating app.🤣

I feel like a lot of American guys are around 5’6 or 5’7 and they’re still really hot. But I am 5’3 so they’re taller than me. It does make sense if a girl is like 5’5 and wants her guy to be a bit more taller than her.

My first ex was 5’5 she didn’t really see it as an issue. At the end of the day girls just want the guy “taller” than them.

The only thing is that doesn’t specify (barefoot) or when they have heels on. Cause that’s a big difference

That’s great, and 5’6” is still an attractive height in my opinion. Not sure why most guys need to be ashamed of their heights by lying to just get matches when girls will find out once they meet.

In general girls like guys taller than them. Some girls are taller than 5’6 so naturally they’re gonna see 5’6 as unappealing

Yes, but some girls don’t mind if some guys are just a couple inches taller or around same height lol. Like sure I prefer 5’8” and higher, but it doesn’t mean I won’t be open for other heights.

This is evidenced by the dating apps that allow people to screen for height. I think it was Bumble/Hinge that said 88% of women screen for men over 6', which means 88% of women are only looking at about 12% of male profiles.

So guys might not be ashamed of their height, but a man's height has a direct correlation with his success (or lack thereof) on dating apps.

I take this to mean men under 6' are wasting their money and time on dating apps.
