Girls, what does it take for you to pursue and chase a man?

As we all know, in the early part of a relationship or fling, women hold the power. As such men chase them. However, this is not always the case as is often seen with celebrities where not only are they chased but many women openly admit in front of their current partners that they would cheat given the chance.

my question, is what does a man have to do to get to that level. What are the minimum requirements for you to want to actively chase a man? Can this be achieved with pure physicality? (Handsome, sexy body, rumours he’s great in bed etc.)

My guess is: earning a very good amount ~£60k+ per year, has an interesting lifestyle (EG 2 holiday homes abroad, rooftop bars, fine dining), looks after himself and has put 5+ years in the gym building a dream body that other men respect immediately and is attractive. Respected by other men in his career. Gets “it” in fashion, interior design and in general. (Ie doesn’t have a stupid electric blue Lamborghini, does have a classy neutral colour clean car.)

I've pursude men at more ocassions. It basically just has to do with my character, Im a go-getter and Im brave. Funny enough there are more women thank you think that actually persue men, its a myth in wich men get all the glory, I know so many couples where a woman made a first move. Men make such a big deal of this but in reality both people need to put an effort regardless of who made a first move.

To answer your question, what would make me personally pursue a man is the attraction I feel towards him, an energy, chemistry based on his looks and vibe... and than other rational things like his morality and personality characteristics. Sure being fit, clean is attractive but its nothing without that chemistry, than other things like earning a lot is positive cause it tells me he is ambitious and doing something with his life, but its not again a must. Point is there is nothing you can make of ysf that women would pursue you, cause its mostly about chemistry. But it depends maybe on a type of woman you want, if you just want a hookup it is possible to attract those kind of women by looks and money.

With most guys I made the first move. This guy I met lately, we were drinking with friends at a bar and I noticed the way he was looking at me but I guess he is too shy. I went and put on a song and started dancing with him and then he kissed me and his friends were like 🙈🙈🙈. But soon I told him I have to go and called a taxi and the next day he went to another country where he is working so we didn't see each other for almost a month. He texted me a few times but mostly we just talk about my dog 😅🤣😅 I guess he is too shy. His friends are teasing him and asking me if I like him and I was just pretending like nothing happened. Wtf does that mean bro. I know I’m approaching this in a very male brain way ultimately I’m asking what makes a man more attractive than her.

We only tend to see this with pro athletes and celebrities but I think it’s qualities that those people tend to have, that make them attractive, not that they are famous or a pro athlete in the 1st place. So that’s why I said what I said. My hypothesis is that athletes are attractive Because they are respected, celebrities are attractive Because 1. They are physically (fashion, framing, skincare etc.)
2. You can peak into their life and see it’s more interesting than a 9-5. 3. Preselection.

And I’m basically trying to test if it is something like that.

In all honesty, I’d have to age backwards to want to chase someone. Like look at all these options in this world. But i guess this is where we’d have to focus on the rarities. The guy would have to literally look damn near 100% my type and have the same wants/needs/beliefs/values/goals because if not that then there's no point in chasing. Rn im maintaining something with someone and I’d like to think we’re progressing though sometimes it feels like we’re at a standstill. But we do not share the same beliefs nor values and although we share the same goals, they have different timelines. Lucky for him, we do share an intense chemistry. But chemistry can only do so much. So am i fine maintaining what we have and trying to see if it improves? Yea. But would i have ever chased him? No, especially not had I known all the shit i know now

I don't think any gender holds power in any stage of a relationship.

I also don't like the term chasing; it is somehow degrading for both people involved.

This stage, when two people get to know each other and express or not attraction is specific. I'm sure that, in my case, things related to money or physicality play no role. But I can be enchanted with words and humor, and many men I met also were more fond of a woman's sharp mind than a perfect body.

So I express my attraction and look for more opportunities to learn more about interesting individual, but I wouldn't call it chasing.

I do hold that there is power in relationships and it’s often in an imbalance.
But I do think that the term chasing and tbh analysing relationships in general is degrading to the actual experiences you and others have. But that doesn’t mean I think it’s necessary wrong or better put, not useful to do so. It can be very useful to look at a relationship in terms like this.

It’s one of those things where it might not actually matter but when when you look at the data, you definitely want to be in one group over another.
