Drinks plural? No. When we go out and if it is a special occasion we will get a drink. And yes I do pay for it all because I am the man of the household. My wife shouldn't have to worry about paying for things like that. She shouldn't have to worry where she is walking. Shouldn't have to open her own door. Etc. Letting her do those things defeats the purpose of being a gentleman.

The men I've dates have always paid for my drinks/food. If we grab a coffee or small snack sometimes I will pay as a nice gesture but other than that I never pay. I'll always offer on the first few dates, but usually they'll tell me not to keep offering. Partly because they all made significantly more money than I did, and because they were more traditional. Also, a lot of men would feel embarrassed to have other men at a restaurant/bar see his girlfriend cover or split the bill. It depends on the culture but in a lot of places it's not a good look

When dating, it really depended who needed a drink replenished first, if it was hers, then she bought the round, or if one of us was talking to someone else and busy, the other bought the drinks.
