He texted me yesterday. But he didn’t sound as enthusiastic as before. We also texted today, but I felt like I was more into it. Maybe just my gut feeling but I felt more interested to continue conversation. I don’t like that feeling so I wished him a nice evening and stopped messaging him.

I feel so sad though… I thought I met someone nice and really liked him a lot.

Why are you texting someone long distance? That is the worst way to start a relationship.

I liked him. We just found each other and we hit it off. I am a romantic, I believe things can work out if both of us try well enough.

All of the relationships that I have been in that started long distance have fizzled out and died within the first month. Long distance is difficult enough for a normal relationship; to start long distance, especially with no plan to meet in the first month, is asking for trouble.

Look for guys like him that live close by. Also don't get invested in people online that you haven't met in person. For all you know he could be a catfish.
