This girl likes me but we’re different, can it work?

So this girl who’s talking to me has had a girlfriend before (she’s bi), and I haven’t told her that I believe in God. And I actually read the Bible. I haven’t deceived her, it’s more like when should I tell her? I’ll never discriminate against her views. And I never want to hurt her. I really wish her the best in all aspects of life. However, she talks highly of the lgbt community, and I’m over here scared to even speak. Because some people hate others who have religion. And she’s like head over heels for me. She likes me so much that I even had to tell her that we should slow it down.

Man, that's an interesting situation. A few thoughts:

- At some point soon you'll want to let her know your views respectfully, before anything serious happens. Honesty is important.

- But definitely lead with how much you care for HER - make it about listening to understand each other, not debating beliefs.

- There may be room for compromise. You don't have to agree on everything as long as you respect each other.

- Ask how important the LGBT community stuff is to her identity. Some people are more flexible on faith compatibility.

- You could also find common ground y'all share - values like kindness, commitment, family. Build from there.

- Take it slow for now. Really get to know each other to see if your core is compatible long run.

- Pray on it too bro! God will guide you to the right path, even if it's not always what you expect.

Stay open-minded. If she likes you that much already, there's hope you can make it work man. Just communicate well!
