What do you do when you find out your boyfriend or girlfriend is a hoarder?

You met someone you really like and you start dating they become your boyfriend/girlfriend and then one day finally you go into their room and you find yourself in this hoarder room

they don’t know you went in there to see.

They forgot something and you figured you’d go get it and you just go in and find this ⬆️ 👆

Horders never use what they stash so in name of organizing I can start putting small bits to trash it won't be much difference coz more objects will be hoarded but I will keep the useful rest will dissappear slowly

Have you ever seen the show? About hoarders? You’re right they never use anything they have but they cry, become upset and angry if you start throwing stuff away. Because even when they don’t use it they believe that they will someday in the future

If they know you are throwing away stuff then they do if you do it secretly and they don't notice they won't do that coz they can't keep track of what they have and what they dont

I would have a talk with them and stop seeing them. I can’t date a hoarder. A cluttered house makes me feel overwhelmed.

Sadly, that would be a dealbreaker for me. I cannot mentally cope with a partner with a hoarding disorder if we were to live together.
