Why are English women the most difficult to date or have conversation with?

I found women in London incredibly friendly. Every time I went out alone they were buying a round of drinks and coming over to spark up conversations "so I wouldn't be lonely" and walking with me to cafes I inquired about "so I wouldn't get lost". I had a squirrel climb into my lap at a park and shared my sandwich with him. When I ran out a local woman went to get peanuts so I'd have more to feed him.

Does it get drastically different when you get outside the city center? I never left London proper.

I can only speak from personal experiences and I’ve never had any issues speaking with them, but they’re so blunt and direct that it can come across as difficult or bitchy.
