Generally not. I think it's because looks don't last. Even if a man has Miss Universe as his wife, as an example, then if he only stays with her on the condition that she remains the same way physically, that relationship is not going to last and then she and the kids are royally screwed without a husband and father.

It has a bad reputation because in the normal course, lust is divorced from loving emotion. Though its really the abuse of lust thats the problem, because a person lusting after their beloved partner is never a bad thing (assuming its welcomed)
