Get proper medical information instead of hearing laypeople speculate. I have four healthy kids who were born between me being 37 and 49 and the mothers' ages ranged from 34 to 42. Was my fertility higher at age 20? I have no idea, but don't take all this doom and gloom at face value.

Well as you get older the sperm quality declines thus lowering fertility. There will be a higher chance of birth defects.
